NanoWin

Last year, Nanowrimo helped me to accomplish something I never thought I could: writing a 50,000 word story in a month. This year, procrastinating on Nanowrimo helped me accomplish something even more seemingly impossible: writing almost 25,000 words in 5 days.

It was an insane last week.

But I made it.   :-D

I will freely admit that my plot is a hot mess. I abandon several threads and some of my plot holes are big enough to drive through with the old tractor that magically appears when my characters need it. But I really like my characters and the world that I created for them to suffer through, so I think there’s a real future for most of the bits and pieces once I figure out how to rearrange them. I’m excited to try out the Scrivener Beta, though if I become really attached to it I’ll feel guilty about buying those two actual bulletin boards a few months ago...

I just need to make it through finals week grading first.
